But they struggle to make ends meet and make something of their lives when they return to society.\u00a0They live in poverty in a shared studio apartment in Los Angeles.\u00a0Nearly 10 years have passed since they broke free and both are still in therapy.\u00a0Still, Aaron is strongly drawn to the sense of comfort and security that the cult offered him.\u00a0So, reluctantly, Justin agrees to revisit the camp where they lived, just for one day.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4923\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/theblurb.com.au\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Endless-01.jpg?resize=560%2C315\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/theblurb.com.au\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Endless-01.jpg?w=560&amp;ssl=1 560w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/theblurb.com.au\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Endless-01.jpg?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/theblurb.com.au\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Endless-01.jpg?resize=135%2C75&amp;ssl=1 135w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/>The people seem nice and welcome them back. But the strange goings-on \u2013 of which they have vague memories \u2013 are still there.\u00a0The cult leader, Hal (Tate Ellington) \u2013 who doesn\u2019t like to be known as such \u2013 is still trying to work out a complex mathematical equation, which leads to who-knows-where.\u00a0A bearded man makes a good home brew.\u00a0An artist from a mental facility now calls the camp home.\u00a0And then there are others, like the apparently wild man who snubs everyone and just walks quickly. Or the woman who writes notes about keeping quiet and is looking for her husband who disappeared in the area.\u00a0Overhead are not one, but two moons. And a third is being formed, which may well mark doomsday.<\/p>\n<p>If these thoughts appear to be the rantings of a madman, then at least I&#8217;ve captured your attention &#8211; just as Benson and Moorehead have with this science-fiction mystery. The pair direct the film as well as playing the leads. Benson also wrote the piece, while Moorhead served as director of photography. They both receive producing credits \u2013 a good way to keep costs down on an independent feature!<\/p>\n<p>They play on the close relationship between the brothers to overcome a major hurdle in life.\u00a0The pair are believable throughout.\u00a0Tate Ellington, too, has a certain gentle charisma about his characterisation. He&#8217;s non-confrontational, but makes his presence felt.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/reMwL8uYXps\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>I bought into the concept, hoping the pay-off would be worthwhile.
