With their highly anticipated new album Wild Seeds out this Friday, Australian super-group Seeker Lover Keeper (Sarah Blasko, Sally Seltmann and Holly Throsby) have given us one more single in “Superstar”. The ethereal, piano and vocal driven song takes advantage of the group’s amazing vocal harmonies and makes me really excited for what else the album will reveal. It helps that the track also has an amazing video staring Australian actor Madeleine Madden.
“”Superstar” was the first song we wrote for the album,” Seeker Lover Keeper explained. “Sally [Seltmann] brought in the piano part, and a rough song structure and together we worked on melodies and lyrics. We had never written songs together before, so I think we all felt a little nervous. However, this song came together really quickly and organically.”
