FROSTED – A Winter Spectacular, in the Big Top opposite Westfield Fountain Gate in Narre Warren – children’s attraction review

The fun starts even before you enter the heated Big Top, which is located opposite Westfield Fountain Gate in Narre Warren. Snow is falling immediately outside, courtesy of a snow making machine. FROSTED – A Winter Spectacular is a magical experience for the littlies and for the parents and grandparents who watch their small faces light up.

It is the second time that Showtime Attractions has staged this Christmas in June and July celebration and it has been expanded since it was last here the year before last. It is all about engaging activities, colour and movement.

Think an inflatable slide and ball pit, inflatable jumping castles, an artificial ice-skating rink, creating your own personalised biscuits and an age appropriate merry go round. There is a tiny train ride, mini golf, character meet and greets, wall mounted reindeer heads that sing, a North Pole Post Office and a Winter Craft Corner for colouring in. There is even a babies’ area for those two years of age and under.

PAW Patrol is on duty with a quarter hour show involving characters from the popular TV series who sing and dance. Photo and video opportunities are everywhere. And you can choose to pay extra to participate in a traditional moving heads’ fairground attraction, along with a huge merchandise stand, plus hot food and drinks to purchase. You can also have your photo taken with the Snow Queen.

Best of all, Santa’s wife, Mrs Claus, dressed to the nines in stunning electric blue, is ready and waiting to greet you with a glorious smile and easy conversation. Everything is extremely well organised and laid out. I went along with three generations and we all had a great time over more than an hour and a half. Frankly, the young ‘uns, aged two and five, didn’t want to leave. The simple pleasure of the ball pit was all it took to drawn them in and keep them engaged and entertained. The rest was a bonus.

FROSTED – A Winter Spectacular is a beaut school holiday activity for those aged 10 and under. It doesn’t close until 19th July, 2026. General admission tickets are $29.50 plus booking fee, while an evening only family admission ticket for four (including at least one adult) is $100 plus booking fee. A full VIP experience, which includes fast pass entry, a food and drink voucher, and a gift bag involving FROSTED merchandise, is $75 plus booking fee.
