Woodes on tour – music news
Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Woodes is heading back on the road for her debut tour. The alter ego of Elle Graham, Woodes is bringing her organic, emotive electronica to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne in July. The tour is in support of her new single “Run For It”.
Last year she released her debut self-titled EP to much praise, featuring in Pigeons & Planes, Indie Shuffle and Rolling Stone. The EP debuted in the top 20 iTunes charts in seven countries.
“The Thaw”, her 2016 breakthrough single, was added to high rotation on triple j, triple j unearthed, FBi Radio and community radio. Her follow up single “Rise” was a fan favourite online, with over 1.3 million streams (and counting) on Spotify alone.
After recently performing at SXSW in Texas, Woodes spent some time writing in the US. She comes home with new material to debut for Australian audiences.
